• Hi.

    Will ThingMagic M6e be able to read tag temp and moist sensor code ?

    Or any suggestion of purchasing a RFID development kit in the rang of 500£ which can read tag RSSI, Temp and moist sensor code.

  • Hi all.

    I’m searching to buy a reader which can read moisture code as will as temperature variation code/ value in the budget of 500£.

    My question is IF I buy ThingMagic M6e, Will it read both data of temperature and humidity ?

    In this Discussion they mention that ‘ThingMagic Mercury API which can control the Astra reader’ can read moisture…[Read more]

    Ok. got it.
    I think ThingMagic is ok then. I will confirm from JADAK(the provider of ThingMagic) that can it read temperature. if it read temp then it will also read humidity. I do have code for temp reading. should I will write a C# code for moisture code reading ?

    • Good,

      If u could write a C# code for measuring temperature, writing a code to retrieve humidity code should not be tricky (it would be a few lines comparing to measure temperature)

    @sharifinejad
    Thanks.
    I think it will measured the temperature as some other did with using ThingMagic but I’m not sure about humidity.
    What process or code you have been used for measuring humidity ?

    • If a reader could retrieve Temperature code, it is able to retrieve the others!!!! I dose not matter what kind of readers you use, the fact is just to connect to your sensors and to know where are you needed information stored and how to extract them.

    • You are welcome,
      Unfortunately I have no idea about this M6e. There is a probability to retrieve this data with any kind of readers. However, the reader I used costs about 1000$ and it works well for me. You can talk to him if he would change his mind, but you could find a cheaper (Having no idea).
