Hi, we would like to use wireless temp & pressure sensors.

Temp dictates a RFM3200, but is pressure sensing achievable with the same sensor or should we combine an additionnal RFM2100?

    What would be your advice?

    Thanks to reply by email.

Pressure sensing, regardless of the tag used, requires an extra mechanism in addition to the tag itself. For example, you could have the pressure change cause a small movement in something with a metal coating. A tag placed appropriately could sense the change in the position of the metal, and the reader would interpret this as a pressure change. Both the RFM2100 and RFM3200 could be used in this way, but the exact details of the required mechanism would be different. This is a somewhat advanced topic, so we may need to have more in-depth discussions offline.
