Hi We are now using semi-active (BAP) tag to detect and record the temp , humidity and vibration data in user memory about 1 hour / time.

I would like to know if it’s possible for your chip to record the sensor data in user memory automatically?

We are focused on agriculture and relevant cold chain service, therefore, we can’t always read the data during the traveling.

Tks very much for your time! -Julius

    Hi Julius,

Thank you for your question. Cold chain shipment monitoring is definitely difficult for an all-passive sensor. One option is to add a reader to the vehicle or shipping container. The reader can power and communicate with the sensors to record the temperature during transport.

In many cases, we’re finding that the temperature violations are happening during unloading periods. A handheld reader or a reader located on the loading dock can monitor critical goods and the temperatures in these situations. RFMicron can support this type of monitoring today.

For actual data logging only on the sensor itself when away from any readers, RFMicron can not offer that capability until we release a semi-passive sensor.

    Thank you
